Is This a Good Time for Your Initial Financial Plan?
Since we know Inspire's holistic style of financial planning takes time, and costs money, not everyone is presently in the right season of life to begin the journey.
Over time, we at Inspire have concluded that the younger you are, the harder the journey is to begin. That being said we have clients in their twenties, and veteran clients that are in their 80s. It’s more about your mindset and financial health, than it is about your age.
Is Your Age a Factor?
However, our experience has been that the younger a person is, the more prone they are to go it alone with their planning until life gets more complex. And there is nothing wrong with this approach for some people, at certain seasons in life.
Just Say Yes
If you can say YES to all of the questions below, please call us to schedule your initial complimentary consultation.
If you answer NO to any of these questions, you are probably not at the best crossroad of your life to work with Inspire. Read the questions below thoughtfully, and see what answers you come up with.
1. Are you debt free, or close to it regarding any unsecured debt?
2. Do you have 3 to 12 months living expenses in your emergency fund?
3. Do you have at least $450 per month of discretionary income above your living expenses, or have at least $25,000 to invest?
If you said no to any of these three questions, you may benefit from a simplified approach to strengthen your current financial path. Just about everybody starts here, so you are in good company. Give us a call when things change.
